It’s not just us saying it; the value of online reviews in today's marketplace is no longer in question. Article after article in respected magazines and even government websites continue to impress their importance.
Research into the importance of online reviews to your business continues to show their importance is growing year on year. Indeed, the bright local consumer survey from 2014 indicated that 88 percent of consumers trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation and we know how much advisers appreciate personal recommendations from their clients.
We understand the many ways client reviews can bring value to your business:

- Having reviews illustrates your willingness to be open to feedback

- Can be used for your internal marketing purposes
Invite your clients to rate you
Adviser Ratings has made it easy to invite your existing clients to rate you on our site.
Basically, there are 2 ways to do it, depending on your preference.
- Use our built-in “Invite to Rate” tool
a) Simply login to your profile dashboard, click on the “My Clients” tab at the top right hand side of your profile, then just underneath, click on the “Invite Clients to rate” link.
b) Upload your clients either using a .csv file (for bulk uploads), or manually one by one (click on the "+" icon).
c) Enter a headline and brief message that will appear in our template email (you can preview this before you send it)
d) Click send!
Using this tool will allow you to keep track of which of your clients you have invited to rate you and enables you to re-send the invite at a later date should you wish to.
The template email sent to your client has a button on it that will send them directly to your profile rating page to complete the 2-minute review process.
- Create your own email
The alternative to using our tool is to create your own email to send to your clients.
We would advise simply including the url link to your actual full profile page, then directing your client to the left of your profile picture to the “Add Review” link.
Increase your Adviser Rating
Getting positive client reviews is an easy way to increase your Adviser Rating status.
Customer reviews make up a maximum of 20% of your total status.
Once you receive 5 customer reviews rated at 75% or higher, 5% is added to your total AR status, and for each additional review you receive after that (which maintains the 75% average), a further 1% is added to you AR status.
eg. Current AR = 60% (Bronze)
With 5 positive reviews, your AR status increases to 65%
So when you receive 20 positive reviews, you AR status becomes 80% (Gold)
Status levels as percentages are as follows:
Minimum = <60%
Bronze = 60-69%
Silver = 70-79%
Gold = 80-89%
Platinum = 90-100%
