I think financial advice could be much more accessible and much less conflicted.
I also think the advice should always help the client more than it helps the adviser providing it.
I do this for an upfront fixed fee, I have no relationship with any product provider, I am not owned or work for or with any bank or insurer, I do not charge any ongoing fees, and frankly, after we put together a plan, you should have no need to speak to me for approximately 5 years unless something drastically changes (illness, death, divorce, inheritance, lotto).
Again, I charge one single upfront fee, which can usually be funded through your superannuation or you personally - your choice.
