An adviser of 15 years, Nathan has been providing leading Values based advice for most of his career. He is a multi-award winning planner, both for the quality of his advice but also the contribution to the professionalisation of the industry. He specialises in making emotionally and technically complex matters simple, mostly working with those in their 50s and beyond who need help with Aged Care, Divorce, Estates, Co-living/Granny Flats, Financial Settlements, and Retirement.

Nathan has also undertaken professional development on engaging with victim survivors of sexual violence, including child sexual abuse, sexual harm and sexual assault. For these clients he aims to provide my financial advice in a way that is sensitive to their needs and experiences.

Nathan was an absolute legend to deal with. Helped guide us through granny flat right to reside agreements with a level of patience and compassion that’s honestly rare to find.

What was meant to be a quick 15-minute free call turned into 40 minutes, and at no point did he seem rushed or pushy. He broke down complex information in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely seemed more focused on what would benefit us rather than trying to make money or take on unnecessary work.

Nathan provided advice for a complex aged care situation involving Centrelink, multiple stranded properties, and long-term cashflow.

What stood out was the clarity — he didn’t just recommend a strategy, he modelled different scenarios and explained the trade-offs. The approach to using the RAD to reduce fees and improve cashflow was particularly well thought through.

Overall, practical, transparent, and tailored advice.

Nathan possesses a wealth of knowledge in the areas we were particularly interested in. Namely Superannuation allocated pensions, retirement strategies, CGT and Share sell downs and Aged Care financial planning. These areas of financial planning are complex and overlap with tax implications. My partner and I found Nathan not only extremely knowledgeable in these key areas but also skilled in using language we could easily understand to explain the various options available to us to plan our retirement strategy.
