I love spending time with… my wife, 3 kids and two loveable boxer's (of the dog kind) Billie & Mr Wilson, who love to swim at the beach and are addicted to chasing their tennisballs.

My favourite footy team… The not so mighty Freo Dockers! Having been a member for 20+ years, it is really only upwards from here (i hope). The day we win a flag will be truly remarkable!!

My favourite activities are… getting outdoors to go fishing, 4wd’ing and boating with friends. I also like keeping fit in the gym and watching a good game of footy (AFL) on the weekend.

I would love to… travel around the USA and see all the sites, from the beaches in California, the night life in Vegas, the national parks in Wyoming, the city & parks in New York and the activies in Hawaii.

Now on a professional note… My career in the financial services industry began in February 2013 after completing my Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Western Australia.

My aim as a financial planner is to help my clients articulate their personal goals and work with them to most effectively achieve them, over the short and long term.

Ben and I met at his office, first for an initial consultation which was free. And later to explain strategies and how these would be implemented. He explained how he could help and what my options were. Nothing was done without my consent and everything was explained fully so that I understood. He explained his fees and even worked out the best way for me to pay them without breaking my budget. I am now paying less fees for my super and making the most of salary sacrifice. I will be keeping in touch with Ben so he can help me with making better financial decisions in the future.

Ben was very polite and friendly. He was very punctual and flexible in regards to coming to our home in Clarkson late in the afternoon to make sure my husband was home as well. He is very clear in the way he explains things and will go over it again if you don't understand. The booklet he made up for our personal insurance cover was very easy to read. I have already recommended him to two of my friends.

Ben was able to advise and update my superannuation, income protection and life insurance cover. He was extremely helpful in explaining where my partner and I were able to provide much greater savings whilst extending our current setups to potentially enhance our future gains. Ben also gave our family considerable comfort by proposing substantial life insurance cover at a fraction of the cost that we had previously been given advice for - this has significantly eased any concerns we have had should something tragic happen within our family. I could not rate the service that Ben has provided any more highly and welcome our future dealings together.
