I have been a personal financial adviser for over 10 years, and I have worked in several different areas. I began as a planner in house for a major bank, with thousands of employees. I moved to an award winning boutique wealth management firm. Following the birth of my first child, I then took a position as an in house adviser for an industry superannuation fund. Currently, I hold a position as an in house financial adviser for an innovative and holistic accounting business located in the Redlands in South East Queensland.
Working for an accounting firm my client base is broad and varied, which uniquely suits my skill set which is equally broad and varied. I am a strategic practitioner, and my passion lies in putting the needs of my client at the very centre of the advice process. I have achieved specialist qualifications in SMSF, Margin Lending and Geared Investments, along with achieving holding my Certified Financial Planner designation since 2018. Because of this, I have a deep understanding of Australia's Financial Landscape, and the challenges that we all face in navigating this complex and overlapping system.
There are many factors to consider in building a suitable financial strategy: access to funds; budget and cost of living pressures; evolving stages of life; personal health considerations; taxation; family and legacy concerns... All this without even touching the "technical" financial planning areas of superannuation, investments, personal insurances, retirement planning, social security, estate planning, and debt management. From my education and experience, I understand not only each of these individual areas, but how they overlap and fit together.
The end result is that I am uniquely positioned to assist clients to generate a tailored financial strategy - one which is appropriate, targeted, and considers each clients goals, objectives, preferences, constraints, and limitations.
Expertise
My fees
We generally will not charge a fee for an initial consultation. The purpose of our initial meeting is to develop an understanding of a client's needs, preferences, goals, constraints, resources. It is also to allow clients to meet and discuss their situation with us. The "personal" in PERSONAL financial advice is very important - without it the advice isn't going to be worth much at all. So it is important for clients to meet with us and think about whether we are the right adviser for them.
We charge a fee for service, that is based on the complexity and scope of the advice provided. Fees range generally from $3,300, and will be discussed and agreed to with clients prior to formal engagement.
