I'm the founder and principal adviser at FinPeak Advisers. A lot of people think financial advice is all about money but it's about much more than that, it's about your entire life. Money is just fuel for living the life you want and it means different things to different people. My purpose is to find out what this means to you and work on ways to bring that vision to life.
Ethical/responsible investing is something that's close to my heart as I'm a dad of two girls and I often think about the world I'm leaving behind for them. It's not just about the environment which is what a lot of people think when they hear the word 'ethical,' it's also about investing in companies that pave the way for gender equality and the data shows that aligning your money with these values does produce better outcomes.
We all have wives, sisters, daughters and grandkids so I hope this resonates with you also. Your money will also appreciate this way of thinking, just ask me about it.
I have over 20 years of experience in the financial services and accounting industry. I've previously held positions in one of the big four accounting firms, a fund manager and a boutique financial advice firm. Having worked in large organisations for many years, I wanted to focus on a collaborative wealth management business.
Specialities: Financial advice, ethical investing, superannuation including SMSFs, retirement planning, estate planning, equities and managed funds, property investment, risk management (insurances), tax-effective investment strategies.

I've spoken to a few financial advisers and none have been as attentive, thorough, dedicated and focused like Michael has. He's given me fantastic advice around a few areas, and a real idea on how to reach my goals. He's always approachable and happy to help for any questions I have, no matter how small or tricky they are. He gives me full confidence as a client that I'm in the best hands possible. Truly astounding service, you won't regret it.
Michael has provided advice on our plan for retirement, including purchasing a home, superannuation, and new insurance products.
