Jakobus Gilliland

Originally from South Africa, I started my career in Australia

as a stockbroker in 2013. I had an interest in all areas of

investment, and assisting clients meet their long term financial

goals.

In 2015 an opportunity presented to start a career path towards

becoming a Financial Advisor with Hub Advisory Group. Initially

starting in a support role to an Advisor and working towards

becoming one myself. I now enjoy helping clients discover

their goals, finding ways to overcome obstacles, and helping

them achieve long term success, be it financial or personal.

I enjoy mountain biking, and although I lack the riding

skills, I am working on my fitness to do some endurance races

on my bucket list.

I have completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of

Financial Planning, and am continuing my education to expand

on my skillset.
