Hi There,

My name is Ralph Taylor, and I am the principal financial adviser at ASAP Financial Advising, which is based in Richmond and Penrith NSW. ASAP Financial Advising forms part of the broader ASAP Group, which includes Accounting and Mortgage Broking services, and which has been in operation for over 20 years.

In terms of formal qualifications, I have completed the Certified Financial Planner designation through the Financial Planning Association of Australia, a Masters of Commerce specialising in Financial Planning from Western Sydney University (WSU), and a Bachelor of Financial Advising specialising in both Accounting and Financial Planning, also from WSU.

I have worked in the financial planning industry since 2009 and am fortunate enough to be a national award-winning financial adviser, having been awarded the Rising Star of the Year in 2015 by Matrix Planning Solutions Ltd.

As well as operating my practice, I lectured in financial planning at WSU to help remain technically proficient, and also to help ensure the next generation of advisers enter the profession for the right reasons and with the knowledge needed.

I have also contributed to financial literacy education sources, such as the Financial Planning Association's Money and Life publications.

As I was preparing to retire, Ralph provided the necessary information and confidence to proceed. He was easy to understand and had the relative knowledge required. Ralph is an amazing financial adviser. Before changing to Ralph over six years ago, I was nowhere near my goals for the future. Now he has me on track. With every year that goes by my financial security gets stronger. This last financial year he took me to a new level of understanding, I was hesitant with the advice but with his ability to explain and his level of dedication in making sure I fully understand before we implemented it was without a doubt what makes him a great financial adviser. Today I just completed my tax return for the year, and was pleasantly surprised (which I didn't believe him at the time) what he advised I do, actually happened. You can see Ralph loves his job and the passion in which he explains the process. He has a true gift of education and knowledge and really wants others to understand how financial freedom can be achieved.

We first saw Ralph when considering transition to retirement, and he was both informative and knowledgable. Ralph has been providing me with advice on how to better manage my superannuation and planning for retirement. Ralph explains things in a clear way that I understand. I have confidence in his knowledge and experience, enabling me to make better and more informed decisions in setting both short term & long term goals. Ralph came highly recommended prior to me seeking his council. I have trust issues with the financial services industry, but recognise that managing my super and pension funds were too complex to manage on my own if I want to achieve my goals. I felt comfortable with Ralph right from our first meeting, my only regret is that I did not talk with him earlier.
