Kane Quickensted

Kane has always been polite, respectful, and non-judgemental. He has offered constructive advice, and has gone "the extra mile" in forecasting and modelling alternative outcomes. He is open to ideas, and warmly helps to achieve great outcomes.

Kane does a remarkable job of explaining financial matters to me, someone who describes herself as being completely financially illiterate! Kane was recommended to me by a friend when i was about to retire and needed to manage assets, investments, additional income from book royalties, and communications with Centrelink.

Like every accountant and tax agent i have employed over my professional life, the complexities of Educational Lending Rights, Public Lending Rights, royalties from a publisher and the associated work requirements of an active author were not their everyday business. Even Centrelink had no idea how to assess this income and how it should affect my Aged Pension payments.

Kane was quick to develop an impressive understanding of the various payments from government bodies and publishers. More importantly, he explained to Centrelink (over and over and over again) how these random payments worked, why i did not need to participate in fortnightly reporting, and on occasions - why my pension payment should be higher than it was!

I still don't fully understand what Kane does, but that's nothing to do with him. For anyone who needs help navigating their investments or retirement, i have no hesitation at all in recommending Kane.

Kane has been managing our finances since we sold our business and retired in 2019. He is extremely knowledgeable about the tax and superannuation systems. He explains everything in such a clear and concise way that we always feel confident that we understand the actions he is recommending. He responds quickly to any queries and resolves issues quickly. We have also found Kane to be very friendly and interested in what we are doing so we enjoy our annual catch ups.
