Hi, I’m Josh Dalton, Director and Principal Adviser at Dalton Financial Partners. Dalton FP was founded in 2012, starting with just one client and a vision to build something different — a financial planning practice centred on genuine relationships and long-term trust.

Today, that vision has grown into a thriving boutique financial planning practice with two offices and a talented team of eighteen professionals, all committed to providing exceptional client care.

At Dalton Financial Partners, we are a boutique financial planning practice by design — deliberately limiting the number of clients we work with so that every household receives the attention, contact, and personalised service they deserve.

Our focus is on working with high-income households, successful business owners, and self-funded retirees, as well as families navigating inheritance and intergenerational wealth transfer.

You can engage us in three ways:

Strategy-only – We assess your current situation, goals, cash flow, investments, super, insurance, and risk profile, then develop high-level strategies without product recommendations or implementation. From $2,400 + GST.

Implementation – Building on the strategy phase, we create a detailed plan, recommend specific products, set up accounts, and manage implementation over six months with dedicated meetings on key areas. From $9,600 + GST.

Ongoing service – Regular reviews, meetings, updates, and unlimited advice to keep your plan current, with fees from $600/month + GST (often payable from super). Agreements renew annually and may include portfolio-based fees.
