Anthony declared he would actively manage our funds and used this as justification for his high fees. He was attentive when selling his advice and then dropped off. We would call the office with questions and email but never heard from Anthony directly. A phone call would be arranged and then we wouldn’t hear from him. We made an appointment but it was rescheduled multiple times. When we finally sat down with him, he was vague and allusive with his answers. He invested us in an Elston portfolio which he does not manage himself but still charged us an ongoing advice fee. When we questioned this he became defensive and put everything back on us. He made us feel like we should have asked more questions or spoken when we didn’t understand. At the time we understood what he was saying but would then leave feeling confused and rushed out the door. In hindsight sight we feel he was all smoke and mirrors and just after our fees. We are now with another adviser who has shown us great respect and attention. Be careful if you are considering using Anthony or his offsided Amanda as they will promise the world and declare how great they are because they are self-licenced but give you crumbs.
