Rob McEwen is a trusted financial adviser who has been guiding clients in personal financial matters for over 25 years. He assists people achieve control and peace of mind over their financial futures, as they move through all stages of the financial life cycle. 

Down to earth and empathetic, he is renowned for his calm and measured character that immediately puts people at ease. Every client’s situation is different and Rob is guided by his trademark critical thinking to develop a plan that fits the changing needs of each client.  

Rob’s career in numbers began in the banking industry. Seeking a more personal, hands-on experience, he established McEwen Investment Services with his father, John, in 1994. Today the business remains privately owned and operates under its own Australian Financial Services Licence, reflecting Rob’s integrity and absolute client focus. Clients are now referring their children to Rob – testament to his expertise in engaging with clients, and helping them achieve the financial future they see for themselves.

When not at his desk, Rob can be found with his wife and family, or on the golf course, working on reducing his handicap to a single digit. He played A-grade rugby for Sydney University and the Waratahs in the mid-1980s, and has coached rugby with the Wahroonga Tigers for the past 20 years.
