And this is how it all started - Having worked previously in the National Australia Bank, then wanting to follow my passion into working out problems and strategies for people in the world of Financial Planning, I started in 1990 in this industry which then was in its infancy, still trying to find its feet in Australia. I am a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA), and over the years I have attained Certified Financial Planning Status (CFP) and have also completed my MBA. My goal is to be able to be the planner of choice for people and their referrals. I work hard to get our name better known within the marketplace, and to promote our brand. Specialties: As many people find Insurance morbid and boring, we specialise in knowing the features, benefits and definitions of various insurance products such as Income Protection, Key Man and Loan Protection, Trauma and Life insurances. We use Graeme for the past 11 for our insurances, never for our super funds.

This was until we sold a property and unknown to us, we could use our super fund to offset the capital gain tax.

Our super fund (industry one) would not help us when I called for advice. They wanted to send me somewhere else and charge me, which I thought they were always saying on Tv they are cheaper than others.

I called Graeme for help on who to help with this cgt issue. He said himself!

All up, not only did he help with eliminating most of our cgt tax that we would pay, but showed us funds that he has access to that are much cheaper than our industry fund, gave better previous returns when ‘comparing the pair’. Graeme now manages our super funds and our insurances.

We are so happy for the conveyance or one stop shop as he calls it.

I met Greame though a friend when out on a car drive. I caught up with him and thought my super was all doing well and cheaper as it was an industry so called fund which you see on the TV, moving up the escalator for high returns. I was so pissed off to see from his research in to my so called work industry fund that it is expensive for what I thought I had and my fund was dearer than the bunch of funds he showed me. I am pissed at them for all these years taking high fees form my fund that I am going too complain about them fake adverts. He showed me many funds and options and I am happy now as I thought I didn’t need help but realise I know shit.

We retired a few weeks and Hedges Asset Planning, who we have been with a few years now, we helpful in organising the pension from our supers as well as getting us the most in government benefits and pension payments. We found it very hard to work out ourselves and Graham was all over this retirement area and helped us immensely. We both can recommend Graham to anyone for super and retirement investing and getting as much back from the government.

I was referred to Graeme from other Dentists I know, to help me with a small business tax issue.

Graeme is very affable, intelligent in knowing the rules and ideas to fix issues, and showed empathy to my tax problem.

With Graeme’s help, I have eliminate most of the problem, saving $10,000 in tax and was actually more helpful that my own Accountant! (He has an Accountant working in his Business).

Highly recommended Graeme to anyone, especially in the small to medium business or in the medical profession.

After working for the same company for 26 years, then being made redundant, I didn’t know what to do with my super and payout monies. I thought that the work super fund was the best and cheapest for me, thinking the employer looked after their employees well, but from Graeme looking into all the fees in the super, I found out it was not the best or cheap at all, and decide staying there will cost me money. Graeme not only helped me with my super, but the advice and ‘holding of our hands’ in the transition to the massive change to our lives was excellent. He holistic advice was well received by us and we now feel comfortable financially for our future. The staff at Hedges are so friendly and they make a great coffee too! I was so stressed about all of this happening that at the end of it all, Graeme even gave me a free massage voucher to relax and calm me down!
