Jenn Laing

Jennifer (“Jenn”) Laing SSA® entered the financial services

profession in January 2023 as a Client Services Officer and

progressed quickly into professional advice. She

commenced her Professional Year in March 2023, passed

the Financial Adviser Exam on her first attempt in

November 2023, and completed all remaining requirements

to become a fully authorised financial adviser in November

2024.

Jenn holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Financial

Planning) from CQUniversity, graduating with distinction in

2023. She further strengthened her technical capability by

completing the Specialist Superannuation Adviser

(SSA®) accreditation in July 2025. Her commitment to

professional excellence has been recognised through

multiple industry accolades, including being named a

finalist for the FAAA Rising Star of the Year (2023) and a

finalist in the Women in Wealth Rising Star category (2026).

Jenn’s professional strengths include superannuation and

insurance reviews across both retail and SMSF

environments, transition-to-retirement and contributions

strategies, and Centrelink optimisation. She is known for

her calm, client-centred approach — taking the time to

understand each person’s circumstances, goals, and

constraints before mapping clear, practical strategies.

Clients value her ability to explain complex concepts simply

and to show them what their financial future may look like

under different scenarios.

Outside of work, Jenn lives the same principles of

intentionality and balance that she encourages in her

clients. She enjoys camping and reconnecting with nature,

often using time outdoors as a way to reset and maintain

mental clarity. At home, she finds creative outlets in

cooking delicious food, engaging in restorative crafts such

as diamond art and cross-stitch, and learning from YouTube

creators who focus on intentional living, holistic wellbeing,

and simplified routines. These practices support her own

grounded lifestyle and reflect her belief that financial

advice is most effective when it aligns with a person’s

broader wellbeing and life design.
