Riley Jan

Riley is a Griffith University and Bond University graduate. Riley holds a Master of Financial Planning, Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP).

Upon admission into the legal profession in 2020, Riley worked predominantly for generalised law firms practising in civil litigation, insurance law, criminal law and sports law at several law firms situated on the Gold Coast and in Byron Bay.

Riley has since followed his passion and made a career change to Financial Planning. He is currently working as a Provisional Adviser with Cruz Financial Planning. Prior to this, Riley's work involved acting as second chair and senior associate to the managing director and other partners of the firm and assists in drafting financial strategies in the areas of:

1. Superannuation including SMSFs;

2. Investments;

3. Wealth Accumulation;

4. Pre and Post-Retirement Strategies;

5. Estate Planning;

6. Life Insurance;

7. Cash Flow Management;

8. Debt Management;

9. Centrelink; and

10. Financial modelling.

Riley has a broad range of expertise in both the financial planning and legal industries. His strengths lie in his work ethic, reliability, organisation and leadership skills. Riley has demonstrated an ability to build strong relationships with new and existing clientele through his dedication to delivering client focussed outcomes.
