We were navigating age-care for our parents, and were advised that financial advisor was strongly recommended. No one around us really had any experience to guide us. We met with Christine and she really helped us navigate this really complex mine field. I'm a bit of a learner, so I did my own research into the age-care materials on the government websites, many website articles, reddit, papers published by finance companies etc. With legal complications, there were even more stuff to read and understand. I used AI to help understand content, and prompted for scenarios. But after all that, what we got from Christine was quite different from what I (with AI) was able to come up with, and was significantly valuable. If I had to do this again, I would choose to engage Christine again. It's not only complex, but it's constantly changing. No-one should get it wrong.
