I grew up on our family farm from the ages of 1 to 12, where life was shaped by hard work, strong values, and being part of a tight‑knit regional community. Those early years taught me the importance of connection, trust, and supporting the people around you—lessons that stayed with me long after I left for boarding school in Perth.

Since then, I’ve spent my career in small business, always gravitating toward roles where relationships and communication mattered. It’s no surprise my business partner—who also happens to be my mum, Thelma—saw that financial advice would be a natural fit. She recognised early on that I believe my vocation is to lead and educate, and that I’m drawn to work where I can genuinely support people through important decisions. So the saying is true, "Mum's are always right".

Today, that belief sits at the heart of my work as a financial adviser. I focus on giving clients clarity, simplifying the complex, and offering guidance that feels personal, practical, and grounded in real human connection.
