I, as a recent retiree engaged Ryan 12 months prior to retiring. His knowledge and presentations over that period allow me to fully understand my financial position and with that knowledge I was able to clearly see the implications of retirement. Ryan’s meticulous approach to the scenarios he created for us was amazing. He came back to us to clarify details and preferences on multiple occasions. He asked deeper questions to grasp our whole picture and he educated us as to how ramifications of our decisions might play out. This often prompted us to consider factors we hadn’t thought of. Our meetings took place, often after hours, on Zoom. This worked well for us. Despite meeting using this medium Ryan’s warmth, sense of humor and trustworthiness shone through. He communicated clearly and at a pace that was easy to follow. Information was shared in a way that ensured we were not overwhelmed. He constantly checked in to make sure that we understood all aspects of the advice document and we never felt that he was pushing a particular product, or working on behalf of someone else. We felt that his advice was genuinely impartial and researched so it was personalised to best suit our needs. This deepened our trust in the process and the relationship with Ryan. He always responded to emails promptly and we appreciated that all questions were always answered without judgment. No question was too big or small. Initially we were slightly concerned about the cost involved in gaining financial advice, but Ryan’s work was worth every cent.

We have already recommended Ryan to a number of our colleagues. We wished we had found Ryan earlier. Knowing that Ryan will continue to journey with us as we navigate our finances into retirement makes us feel like we can genuinely relax and enjoy what’s ahead for us.
