Cassandra Pearson

We chose River City Financial Planning on the recommendation of a friend for pre-retirement advice. We wanted to make sure we were on the right track for the retirement we had envisioned, especially as superannuation can be complex and ever-changing. We were immediately impressed with Cassandra. She had done her homework with the documents we had provided and was 100% focused. Cassandra has a way of explaining complex financial scenarios in a way that is easily understood. She welcomed many "what if" questions and displayed a thorough and in-depth of superannuation and retirement options. She is friendly and clearly enjoys her work. I cannot recommend Cassandra highly enough.

I recently met Cassandra at an appointment which I attended with my adult niece Beth who was seeking financial advice , following a change in circumstances. Beth was understandably quite anxious, not having previously had experience with financial planning/investment matters. To my relief, Cassandra's warm, sincere and engaging style not only allayed Beth's initial anxiety but also encouraged her to feel able to freely ask questions. Cassandra's ability to glean a broad understanding of Beth's situation and to inform her about relevant issues in a succinct way, but also in a manner which was understandable to a "novice", was very reassuring. Cassandra did not press Beth to engage further with the firm but rather provided clarity about the options she could explore and thus gave her confidence to take the next step. She also reassured Beth that the door was open for further advice, if needed. Beth later commented how relieved she was that the interaction with Cassandra was so easy. I would not hesitate to recommend Cassandra as a very able, personable and approachable professional.
