I am a Financial Planner* at AustralianSuper, located in Melbourne. I have 25 years experience in finance, initially in accounting and moving into financial planning over 20 years ago. I have been fortunate to work with industry fund members, as well as prospective members, for over 17 years. I have always worked under the fee for service model – no commissions.
I thoroughly enjoy working with my clients, using my knowledge, integrity and experience, to help secure their financial future - with retirement planning my specialty.
My studies over the years include a Bachelor of Business, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and the Certified Financial Planning CFP® designation. I have competed the FASEA education requirements and professional exam. I am also registered as a tax (financial) adviser with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).

I was introduced to Chelsea when my original adviser decided to leave the business. Not the best way to meet someone who was about to look after your life's saving, however I was immediately put at ease by Chelsea's professionalism and confidence that she would be able to assist me in my retirement plans.
Where I had doubts, Chelsea was able to put my mind at ease and delivered on all that she said she would. If I had questions Chelsea was able to answer and nothing was too hard for her in assisting me. Not only am I now mortgage free but I have a pension plan in place that I can see will work for me in retirement. I can't thank her enough for the hard work she put in to make my situation stress free.
Chelsea was amazing. From the first meeting, to putting everything into place that we wanted, Chelsea was fantastic. She had great ideas on how to manage super, minimise tax, pensions and everything we needed to prepare for retirement. Chelsea's advice was in language that was easy to understand.
It was great to be able to do some of our face to face meetings via the internet. I highly recommend Chelsea for retirement advice.
Chelsea has been a breath of fresh air to us. She was handed a difficult case in terms of our confidence in the process, as our portfolio was poorly handled initially and she has turned it around for us and we are very satisfied with the results so far.
My wife & I had had a very disappointing experience with one of Australia's largest super funds (my wife's), who had directed us to an independent financial planner recommended by them & who was present at their information night. Needless to say it was a very costly mistake. Having been taken advantage of previously we were a little skeptical about how the superannuation sector looked after their customers. After all, our financial future is entrusted to them. My wife & I met Chelsea at an Australian Super Retirement seminar in Melbourne a few years ago when we were preparing to commence transitioning into retirement. At our first face to face appointment it was evident that her knowledge, experience & her financial background was what we were looking for. She was incredibly thorough and patient with us, ensuring we fully understood what she was proposing. When we did finally make the step to retirement it was with the knowledge provided by her that we were ready financially to do so. The SOA laid out differing scenarios to enable us to choose the right direction for us. We found Chelsea always available to answer any questions that we had and we can't speak highly enough of her. She is a delight to deal with & we recommend her to assist anyone who needs assistance in superannuation &/or retirement planning.
We initially found Chelsea via the Australian Super website and we're so glad we did. From that first meeting we were confident that we had found a Financial Planner that understood what our requirements were and was going to act with our needs as a first requirement. We had no interest in a Planner that would design a plan to ultimately provide ongoing benefits to themselves via trailing fees and hidden commissions. Chelsea does not operate that way. The fee for service was both reasonable, and the the outcomes well defined. The first question we needed answered was the age old one - "do we have enough to retire?" The process Chelsea took us through ensured we provided her with the information to provide a very comprehensive, but easy to understand Statement of Advice (SOA). Chelsea then took the time to take us through every part of that report to ensure it was fully understood and all questions answered. Because of covid the meetings were undertaken remotely using video conferencing technology. That made no difference - all questions were fully answered in a clear and concise manner, especially our #1 question "can we retire comfortably?". The SOA gave us all the confidence we needed to progress and included tax strategies not only leading up to retirement, but also regarding estate taxes in the future. We accepted Chelsea's recommendations and followed them, but that wasn't the end. Chelsea ensured that all the right documentation was completed that would move us to draw the income stream for a comfortable retirement. Chelsea couldn't have made it easier for us.
