James has extensive experience in wealth management and strategic financial planning, delivering advice on a wide range of areas. James genuinely enjoys the relationships he creates with clients; he believes a financial advice relationship is meant to be for the long haul and personal.
This passion for providing solutions for his clients was developed during his university education at Griffith University, where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom), Majoring in Accounting and Finance. Additionally, he has a Diploma in Financial Planning and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
At Malhi Private Wealth, James is a Managing Director and Principal Adviser where he upholds his fiduciary duty and incorporates his knowledge to deliver financial advice to high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts and companies.
His success has been built on deep relationships with his clients, careful investigation of each client’s goals and his extensive professional network, which enable him to access the latest ideas and recommend bespoke financial plans. James prides himself on his ability to form close and long-lasting partnerships with clients, to whom he offers the complete spectrum of financial strategies tailored to build and preserve wealth.
Prior to the launch of Malhi Private Wealth, James worked at Shaw and Partners and Westpac/BT Financial Group from 2013 to 2020, where he won numerous awards for his commitment to his clients.
