Andrew has been in the Financial Services industry for over 25 years having commenced his career with Commonwealth Bank's equities trading division CommSec. It wasn't long before he was promoted into a Private Banking position with Commonwealth Bank where he provided a high level of client service and care to the Bank's high net wealth clients in the Hunter region.
In 2006 he was able to put all of his education and experience into his next role as a Senior Financial Planner with Commonwealth Bank for over 15 years.
More recently he held a position as a Senior Financial Advisor in a local accountancy firm that provided diverse financial services to their clients before taking the plunge and founding his own practice that solely focuses on the financial planning needs of his clients.
Andrew prides himself on truly understanding his client’s goals and objectives and delivers advice in an easy-to-understand format. He is highly experienced in investment advice for individuals that are seeking to grow their wealth prior to retirement. Additionally he has a fantastic knowledge of the retirement planning process and addressing the major financial needs that arise at this life stage, including potential Centrelink needs such as the Age Pension and Commonwealth Seniors Health Card. Andrew can also assist with strategies for clients that are receiving other Centrelink Allowances and Disability Support Pensions that may be impacted by existing or inherited assets.
Andrew is a member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA).
Outside of work, Andrew resides in the Lake Macquarie area and is married with two teenage sons. Andrew has a longstanding passion for cars and motorcycles and is a founding member of a local social motorcycle group and is also involved in an enthusiast motor vehicle group as well as participating in the odd motorsport event.
