Adviser Ratings is delighted to announce the winners of its inaugural Adviser Choice awards, which recognise the companies best supporting your professional growth and business development.
Adviser Choice awards have been issued across four categories – platforms, software, life insurance and research house – to distinguish the businesses that are innovating and adapting their products to changing market conditions.
Individual awards recognise excellence on a number of fronts, including user experience, functionality and adviser support. Each category also has an award for an overall winner, which has been given to the company with the best all-round experience for advisers.
The unveiling of the inaugural awards comes alongside the release of the 2022 Australian Financial Advice Landscape report, which provides in-depth analysis of changes to the advice market, products and consumer sentiment across 12 months. The report's insights are based on five months of research and surveys of tens of thousands of advisers and thousands of consumers.
The Landscape Report showed, among its findings, that advisers intend to rely on technology and investment platforms more heavily in the next year, as pressure builds to service clients more efficiently.
The report also profiles how individual segments of the market have changed, including the dramatic shift to privately-owned licensees and the collapse of the risk advice market. While the overall adviser universe has fallen sharply in the last year, the risk advice industry has suffered more than most segments, with just 1,200 risk advisers remaining in Australia.
Adviser Ratings CEO, Angus Woods, says given the demands advisers are facing in the current climate, there is a strong onus on product providers to elevate their level of support, functionality and innovation. These awards showcase the companies that have risen to the challenge.
