"I like to ensure that my clients remain focused on what's truly important to them when making financial decisions."

Adam grew up on a farm in Walcha NSW and is still a country boy at heart - straightforward, practical and with a strong “get it done” attitude.

After graduating in 1997 he travelled via Canada and Alaska, finally settling in London, where he was involved in project management for the regeneration of urban housing. He quickly learned the benefits of focusing on the details whilst never losing sight of the bigger picture.

After returning to Australia, Adam gained his Diploma in Financial Planning in 2007 whilst living in Melbourne. There he worked with a number of different advisory businesses before focusing on providing financial advice to medical professionals at either end of their career. Helping to optimise the financial positions for those in full-time training as well as giving strategic advice to retirees. This work across each life stage has given Adam a clear idea of how best to create and deliver new habits for his clients, providing a solid structure for their wealth management and cash flow needs.

Adam moved to Sydney and in 2015 joined SentinelWealth. We discovered that his calm and practical approach matched with his supportive nature makes his clients feel relaxed and confident. He has the ability to explain complex things in a straightforward easy-to-understand way, which helps to make the whole process of financial planning a much less challenging topic.

He enjoys getting to know his client, understanding their deep motivators and financial ambitions and then following through as he helps them deliver to their financial plans. Perhaps it’s because he is a keen pilot, so he knows that freedom can only be assured if we have a strong flight plan to follow.

Adam is also a keen cyclist. He is married with two children and he still heads back to Walcha to maintain a connection to his family farm.
